The Church
The Church of Christ consists of all persons who follow him.
It is expressed locally as a community of Christians, meeting
together for personal encouragement and to pass on the Good News of eternal
life through faith in Christ, so that others may hear and believe.
The Church could be described as a community of:

| WORTH | - | being community, offering pastoral care |
| WORD | - | growing spiritually, receiving training and development |
| WORKS | - | reaching out, engaging in mission |
| WORSHIP | - | praying, worshipping God together |
The local church has no central goverment - it is a group of
Christians who function together under the guidance of God, and they are solely
responsible to him for the life of the local church community.
The local church will seek and forge links with other Christian
churches.
