Module 5: 1st Book of Samuel
This is another part of THE HISTORY CHANNEL.
The aim is to look at the great stories of the Old Testament with certain intentions in mind.
1. To learn the stories which may not be told so widely today
2. To understand that they are not just "stories" but God speaking to us about the big issues of life and death
3. To discover the meaning for us and how to apply that meaning to our own lives and to the lives of others
4. To let God encourage us and allow our faith to grow
This series draws from the 1st book of Samuel
Key figures are Samuel , Saul and David.
