I believe
"I believe" is the statement of faith
of a person who has come to personal faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and such
a person is declaring that Jesus Christ is now Lord of their life. This statement
is also the opening words in the ancient Christian creeds (Latin: credo= I believe).
This study examines people in the New Testament who met Jesus and through
encounter and conversation with him, came to believe and commit their lives
to him for eternity. The passages are taken from the four accounts of the Gospel
- Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
The aim is to consolidate our own belief in Christ and to see how he encouraged
people to believe in him, so that we might do the same.
